Take a Tour of TBOG

Are you asking, “How do I get my child enrolled at The Bridge of Georgia?”

We are a Private School and our process to ensure that our students get the best services they need is our main goal.

When parents start the process, they must understand that there are many steps that have to be met before we accept a child. Before we accept any student, there must be an opening in a suitable class and staff for that student.

EVERYONE HAS TO TOUR BEFORE GOING FORWARD!

  • Parents/Guardians must have submitted the online form to request a tour.

  • At this time, you will be placed on the Tour Waiting List and will be notified by email with an invitation to come and tour when a date/time is determined. You must confirm that you can attend. If you are unable to come on the date, you will be sent an invitation for 2 more tour dates. If you have not attended any of the 3 tour invitations, you will be removed from our Tour Waiting List and will have to resubmit another request for a tour if you still have an interest in your child attending TBOG.

  • At the tour, parents get a walk-through and see the entire school. We request that only the parent attend the tour.

  • After the tour, you hear about the school, programs and financial information. This is the time parents/guardians can ask question.

  • Parents/Guardians will be handed a folder with information concerning forms that need to be turned in such as current IEP’s, within 3 years

  • Psychological as soon as possible after the tour.

  • The folder will contain current school year Tuition and fees, along with information for parents to check if their child has a Georgia Special Needs Scholarship based on their IEP from the Department of Education.

Tour Request Form

What are the next steps after the Tour?

  • All requested paperwork will have to be received so the Admissions Team can review.

  • If you attended a tour, but did not complete the necessary paperwork within the time required, you will be removed from our Toured list and have to go through the tour request process again.

  • If all paperwork has been received and space is available that meets your child’s criteria, you will be contacted by phone or email to set up a day and time to bring your child in for an assessment.

  • After the assessment, you will be advised that your child has been accepted for TBOG. If not accepted, you will be notified that you have been placed on the School Waiting List for future possible openings.

  • When accepted, you will start the Application Process and forms to fill out to attend The Bridge of Georgia.

Accepted students are determined based on the availability of a classroom specific to the age and needs of the students.

It is not based on when you toured.

Touring does not guarantee that your child will be placed in the next open space.
